John M Electrical issues?

Oh, yes, they figured it out. I thought I had posted what the problem was.....Anyways, there use to be a mobile home my Dad had let my step sister put in out beside the house here. The power company ran the lines underground over there. Well, usually they run the lines down the pole and the "conduit" stuff they put on the outside will face the house, or whatever, its going to. On this pole, for some reason it was not, its facing my barn. So the power company was suppose to take this loose when we moved out here, but never did apparently thinking it went to the barn, and both the electrician and the power company thought the power went out to my barn, which it didn't, so there has been power to the lines to the old mobile home since 2000. With all the snow and rain we've had, it finally got down deep enough to cause problems. They cut the lines at the transformer, reclamped the wires going to my house and I haven't had a problem since!

That makes real sense. I was nervous as the over voltage situation can cause fires and property destruction. Low voltage can as well cause fires when motors can't start. Jim
