has anyone ever taken a radiator out of a ford 340B before? in the parts catalog it shows the radiator is 2 pieces ? i don't want to break it.

Take hood and nose tin off. Radiator is one piece. Parts book shows bottom tank seperate depending on witch trans they have. 4x4 shuttle has cooler and 6x4 and 8 speed dont.

ok, got the cowl with grill and hood off and the hoses loose and it seems like it is bolted to the frame somehow. i felt around to see if there was a nut to get a wrench on and i found nothing. it sets on top of a thick frame with no way to unbolt it from the bottom. the parts catalog shows a bolt going down from somewhere but i can't tell from where. maybe if i loosen the shroud i might be able to see something.

All those Ford radiators are held down by 2 bolts hanging down from the bottom of the radiator with rubber spacers between.. Look for 2 nuts facing down under the front casting.. Ford uses carriage bolts in slots in the bottom plate of that radiator..

OK, DH got it out in one piece. i think i may have found the problem, do you think i can take it to the radiator repair shop, or do you think I'll get laughed at? i really hate to replace it with a china one.
