Old Ford backhoe

Hi everyone,
So great to have forums to get a little help.
I have an old Ford backhoe that's been with a great performer for me for about 16 years. Change fluids and minor stuff and she has treated me well. Now I'd like to get some manuals and I want to make sure I have good info before I spend $300 for books. On the right side of the tranny I've got these numbers; 45021G which I take as model 45021C, 8005B which I take as 8D05B production code, and C1975190 as a serial number. The model seems correct for a 3 cyl gas with no PTO and an 8 speed tranny. Does all this fit with what you guys know?
Thanks,
Walt

Walt post this over on the Ford forum here on YT. Someone there will be able to help you.

I have a 1970 Ford 4500, 3 cyl gas with 8 speed transmission, 4 spd box with Hi-Lo shifter. No PTO. Ford has a distinct code in their numbers to further ID what a model is equipped with- I don"t know how to read the code, but I suspect yours is a 4500. Guys on the Ford or N board can tell you.
