Hydraulic quick couplers

How much do you think they restrict flow. Say if you have one connected to a half inch hydraulic hose do you think it would be like putting a 3/8 bushing on it or more or less. Just wondering Thanks

I think of it more like a restricting check valve. Depends on the operating pressure too I think.

We have done a lot of different checks on quick connects and there is worlds of differences of what some will floe. Some will produce so much back pressure that they will cancel a self canceling valve. Others really make a loader work slow. I think that is one reason they came out with the one inch flat face types for skid steers.
