we're getting a gully washer right now. thunder and lightning, hard rain. suposed to get 50 mph winds tonight. gonna be some flooding.

It is snowing so hard here, that I can't see the trees on the other side of the meadow, which is about 200 feet from the window I am looking out of. PLUS, the wind is blowing so badly that it looks like the house is passing the snow! Or vise versa I suppose! Bryce

Here's my car.

And my snowblower in front of it.

snowblower always starts on one pull when it's warm, but NEVER when it's snowing. And it's got a flat. I gave up on it a few storms back, and it's been sitting there ever since.

(I've got my truck, so shoveling the car out has been a low priority).

Around here you have to have a ladder to get up there to do the shoveling. Once you are done you can walk right off the roof like that.

Ya'll sure that's really snow?

"The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported Thursday that Earth was 1.17 degrees warmer last month than the 20th century average. Since records began in 1880, only 2002, 2003 and 2007 started off warmer than this year."

I bought a Wagner heat gun from Menards the other day. Its been tie wrapped to a fence post pointed up at the sky ever since. I'm doing my part. What about the rest of you? Huh? Complainers, but no action to actually take the bull by the horns and fix 'im. Me, the lone wolf in solving the world's problems once again. Maybe I should be using two heat guns?

south central Iowa We got about 2"of pea to marble sizes hail earlier, then went to thunder and lighting snow, now back to slushy rain. Can now see across the road thru the fog

I'll be damned, you're right. I just felt it, it's not even cold. It's probably ash from mark's smoking heat guns.

Yeah, the the 2 hottest summers on record (98 and 2012) were still a couple degrees cooler than 94, if you figure it using the real thermometer readings, instead of "adjusting" them first.
