Adding to JayinNY's post cell phone signal booster

We have a new construction house and service isnt very good under the tin roof. We are on a waiting list for internet through frontier. We currently are using our cellphone as a hot spot which is working good and it isn't an additional bill. However with the tin roof we have to to put our cell phones at the door and only have on bar. If we set the phone outside on a boot we get 2 bars and fast internet. Has anyone used or know a good brand of cell phone signal booster we can put inside our house?

In addition we have dish and had them come out to hookup internet at first. They wanted 4 big oaks taken out and we didn't want them down.
 
We have a booster in a cabin in the hills. Bad thing is I can't remember the brand. But it really works. Got it at the Verison store. We had to put antenna on the roof. Pointed toward cell tower. Then you have to have your phone on this pad. So you are connected to a wire. But we went from No signal to 3 bars. Also you can lay up to 3 phones on the pad and they will all work.
 
We have a Wilson that works ok as long as you have a signal to start with. We use it in the 5th wheel (traveling for work) and have it set up at the house too when we're there. I also have a Wilson in the truck ( mobile version) it really works better than the house model. I haven't tried any other brands but that's my experience with them. Brian
 
Why not put an antenna on your roof or side of your house? I put up three antennas here in northern Michigan. One for wireless Internet, one for our cell phones and one for our wireless Verizon "home phone." Antennas are small and easy to install. Just have to make sure they are correct frequency.
We also have a Wilson amp that works fine for 3G voice and wireless Internet. Not for 4G LTE though. 4G amps are a different frequency and much more expensive.
