Hauled swim suits a while back. Drove with the window open
today. Spring must be right around the corner. 68 deg. Here
in Ok City.

temp got all the way up to 11F here today.
Supose to warm up Wed, ater another acumilation of snow tomarrow.
Hopeing to start hanging buckets on the maples Thusday-Sun when we have the school kids to help.
There was little snow in the woods, all winter, but looks like snow shoes will be the footware of choice to tap the trees, after last weeks storm.

PS I will keep you posted for the posibility of a NE run.

Freezing rain, sleet, snow and then about noon it warmed up to 41. It was so slick I stopped on a gravel parking lot, and the 10 wheeler I was driving slid 30ft after I stopped.(side ways)

You'd be driving with your window down here too......with your head hanging out trying to see where you're going. I don't think the wipers would take the snow away fast enough. Speed wouldn't be a problem. They said on the news speeds are about 30 on the freeways. Where they aren't closed due to wrecks.

The only one driving with a window down here would be someone that had bad chili for lunch.
It is nasty outside here. Had to take hay up north to the horses. The horses didn't want to move out of the way. They were not out but I figured it would be better tonight rather in the morning.

Swim Suits ,, ! Wow, LUV 80 degrees and the window down!!!! ,,,that's rite ,JON ,, chase that warm air into the ohio valley , BUT ,, Leave THOSE Damtornados out on the plains,, awful afraid ....thats the next plague comin ,////// LOREN ,sorrey to tell ya ,that warm air we are getting now is full of ice cold rain ,half inch so far, runnin off like a 4 inch downpour ,, Ground IS FROZE ..still got 6 inches snow /ice in fields . it was 40 yesterday , so I THOUGHT, I could get a load of round bales, should go easy enuf ?,?!. NOT!! ,,.left the Cummins dodge and trailer sittin on ice on level ground last nite, tires melted into 5 inch deep choks this am , had a time pullin it out with the 430 CASE ,,,no traction..

This afternoon I looked at the temp in Cordell, OK, where we used to harvest, and it was in the mid-sixties. We haven't seen sixties for awhile here in my neck of the woods for sure. Jim

Last Wednesday and Thursday we had an ice storm. Sunday it was about 65-68 and we had a couple of purple martins come in, the robins are all over the place. I've noticed we've had several killdeer on the place this past month. Today it got up to 70 and I was able to wash my truck. The girls are wearing shorts. :D I just wish the ground would dry up.
