More pictures from Scotland

A few more pictures taken on our weekend trip to Inverness. These do show we get snow sometimes. Even managed to get a shot of a Massey, think it was a 130. Hope you enjoy

very nice.

I think I see a bunch of loch ness monsters in the water.

or maybe they're just little islands.

It's hard to tell for sure.

Part Scottish myself. My mother was a MacDonald.

She's been over there to visit, but I haven't been.

I'll make the trip one of these days.

haven't been there since I was 4 but it's just as beautiful as mom and dad said it was . my dad said 35 and rain was a Scotland winter . left in 1948 , mom said she missed twilight the most . that has been a long time now , enjoyed the photos .

The many pastures are obvious. Are the distant fields in the background of your snow pictures possibly tilled and planted to row crops?
Is the snow because of a different altitude, or topography, or both?

Beautiful pictures ! One of these days I'm going to go on a trip to Scotland. My mother was a McRae and her dad came over from Scotland in the 1920's or 1930's. Mom died in August 2012 and never got to go, so I hope to make the trip to honour her. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Gotta' ask Bill, are the pics of bodies of water fresh or salt???
Got rellies where the louckorby plane went down, perhaps on the border?
P.S. Love ur pics, and thank you for taking us with You. Cheers!
