Wenger Equipment

I have purchased used parts from them several times. I think there was a mix up one time, and they took care of it.

I bought one piece of machinery from them. A really nice looking 3x18 semi mounted White 508 spring reset plow. I was horrified when I discovered someone had put new wear parts on over frogs that were worn back so far the front point bolt hole was gone! I don't know who did it. But they stood behind it. I priced parts locally, and found the best deal on complete OEM bottoms. So we shared the cost, because I got lots more pieces than necessary.

Shop around first and know what you want to spend.

They've got a lot of old parts in stock, but they tend to be painfully expensive on a lot of it.

They're a big, well established company - great yard to visit for old parts, if you're ever in the area. Worth a detour.

I don't doubt they'll back whatever they sell. But, as I say, just know what a fair price is going in.

I have bought lots of parts from them. They aren't cheap, but they know what they have and can get it out to you in a timely manner. If you want the cheapest price start calling all the yards that say "let me go out in the yard after lunch and see if I can find one." They never get back to you or if they do it takes them a week to ship it.

I will agree with the rest they are not cheap I bought a hyd. pump for a 8n, it came in 3 days and works perfect so no complaints, I also bought a front axle support for a 2n it was in good shape and quick delivery.

Called them for crawler parts (for a friend) and asked for a picture, they took about 6 or 8 quality photos and had them in the mail almost instantly. Unfortunately project wasn't completed, but I was very impressed with them and would not hesitate to deal with them.

I've gotten a lot of parts from them over the years. They're cheaper than Mother Deere on a bunch of whole components (like the two speed converter on a 4240) or a hydraulic pump for a 2520, and don't waste time shipping them. So far, I have been exceptionally happy with them over a lot of other places....

They have a used spindle for my MH44. The right one is bent on the vertical shaft, and I am not sure it can be straightened easily.

I bought one item from them about 4 years ago.
Part of a tie rod for a Ford 3400. Part was expensive but part was good and they were good to deal with - knowledgeable - and shipped promptly.

It is different from other places that I know of. They dismantle, clean, inspect, and put on shelves. I bought a pair of used tires there once. When I took them to get them mounted one had a bad leak. I called Wengers up and they refunded half what I paid for the pair, no problem.

back in the late 70's and during the 80's I bought a lot of used 4wd Case tractors from Loyde Wenger. His word was golden. We would buy used 2470s from him, put them through our shop and then paint them up for resale. We were able to get a lot of customers into Case 4wd tractors that couldn't aford new, and we were able to increase our parts and service revenue. Often those tractors were traded in for new ones as time went on.
They were #one in my book back then.
In the arial veiw of our dealership back in 1980. The Desert Sunset 2470 with the stack of duals in the lower left corner was a new arival from Wengers.

All of my purchases have been within the last 6 months. Positive feedback if they were eBay. One item (12 V generator) was a little high but it had the IH tag still on it so was pleased as it goes on a restored tractor. Another item was very reasonable. My biggest concern is the freight charge but they all/most pack well and put in a larger box than may be necessary and ship via FedEx or UPS which costs more $$ than USPS in a flat rate box. End of mini-rant.
