2001 DODGE PICKUP HAS A BOOBOO

My '01 dodge pickup had the drivers door backed into today.I have a door the right color but manual/manual instead of full power. What is the best way to disconnect/reconnect the wiring harness? Is there a junction box in the doorjam? Knowledgable replies desired?

Should be able to open up the bad door, disconnect the harness from the locks, mirrors, windows, speaker, and any retainers, and slide it out the front of the door.

Then you'll need to swap over your mirrors (easy), locks (shouldn't be too hard) and window motor/regulator. Don't know if those use the same regulator with power vs manual windows or not.

Don't forget the right inner door panel.

And of course, that's if you would like to keep those features. If not, I'd stuff the harness back in the fresh door and put the passenger window/lock on toggles.

Should be an accordion boot between the door and hinge post. Pull the boot back from the post and you should see the harness plug. Unplug the harness, Leave it on the door for now. Remove the hinge pins and with a helper remove the door. Then transfer all the parts to the replacement door. Transfer the harness at that time.
