Didn't feel it in my part of Spartanburg County.
News said it was centered in Edgefield County.

Yep, had just gone to bed and heard a rumbling sound. Got up and could not figure out where it was coming from. It soon stopped, so I went back to bed thinking it must have been a large truck off in the distance. Seemed to last quite a while.
Where my house is built is pretty much a huge rock with a thin layer of soil on top.
I have always figured that is why lightning strikes here so much and why we feel small quakes when others around don't.

Yes, could not figure out what it was, then saw some reports..It went on for a while. I remember a similar shake we had, when I was young, probably the mid-60's.
