Don't know about the birds, but Don Knotts was one funny guy. I remember him from the "Man on the Streets" on the old Steve Allen show with Tom Poston and Louis Nye.

Larry@stinescorner; I love the Andy Griffith Show so I gotta jump in on this posting. To continue on the 'bird' episode ( and I did this without looking) "...winkin will tell blinkin; blinkin will tell nod; nod will tell Barney and ..." what a great show.
