Well, I am REALLY ready for Spring and want to plan out visiting some tractor show this year. I was wondering where the big tractor shows are in, or near Ohio? Ones with antique pulls and lots of demonstrations. I have been to a few smaller ones but would like to know where the larger ones are so i can plan around it.
Thanks,
phil

Purchase a copy of the Farm Collector show guide....

Mid Michigan Old Gas Tractor Association in Oakley Michigan. Generally in excess of 2000 tractors. A bunch of us Michigan YT guys get together there. We'd be glad to meet you.
MMOGTA

I would say ditto on the MMOGTA show in Oakley. I am there every year except for one year they talked me into going to Buckley instead. They are always on the same weekend. MMOGTA was more tractor oriented and seemed to have more demonstrations.

Perfect suggestions!!!! Thanks, much!! I just purchased a 1959 John Deere 630 from a neighbor last year, that was originally purchased new by my father in 1960. I remember driving it bailing hay, etc. when i was a boy. My dad traded it in in 1971, and my neighbor bought it. It is in good working order. Looking forward to plowing with it on the family farm this Spring. Mowed some pasture with it last year. Love the old tractors!!!!

Thanks for the suggestions,
phil

I know yo said near OH10, but if yo can get to Rolag, Minnesoda over the labor day veekend, that is the biggest in everything, takes more than two days to see it all.
Thay have aboot 50 steam engines, railroad, sawing mills, and everything one can think of in the line of farming.

June 26-29, Waseon ,Ohio. Huge show, 30-40 steam
engines, plowing demos, saw mill, tractor pulls. It
is a great show , I go every year.It is in
northwest Ohio, just off I-80.

It is great to get a family tractor back.I just bought the 1968 4020 that dad bought new.He sold it in 1972 to help put a down payment on a farm.Neighbor bought it and always was a family friend.

How about the Dark County Steam Threshers show? Right on 127 north of Greenville. Real nice grounds, lots of shade. Brother in law used to be a member.
Dark County

Not sure where in Ohio you are, but I'm in north central Ohio.
Miami Valley Steam Threshers show in Plain City is July 17-
20. Farm Days in Mt Gilead is August 1-3. Both have web
sites, and are good shows with pulls and demonstrations.
Farm Science review is in late September out by London, and
will have some antique tractor displays along with all of the
new equipment.

The F.A.R.M. Club show June 27 - 29 is small but good. Ripley County Fairgrounds, Osgood, Indiana.

Closer to Ohio and much bigger (next to Butler County, home of Miami University) is the Franklin County Antique Machinery Club show in Brookville Sept. 25 - 28.
2014 Show

Check the show guide for one in Dover Ohio they usually get a lot of steamers.

Then one at LaGrange county fair grounds.I can't remember the town now ?
