Samn 40 - weather?

My wife just showed me the news at Cornwall, 75' waves. Just wondering if you are getting anything yet or warnings? The video that played showing the waves made me think of when the tsunami hit Crescent City, CA in 1964. They had break waters that looked like giant concrete jacks about 15' tall. It washed 1 of them aout 150' inland. Eleven people died from that one. Wife's friend was in Anchorage in front of the Penneys store when it hit. Some man pulled her away from the large glass windows.

We are quite a bit from Cornwall and we get quite different weather, usually only moderate of everthing including heat! I am about 60 miles inland and on top of a hill so the waves should not get to me! I do however have 60 acres under water at present but that is normal as the ground is in a flood plain, best grazing I have every summer though!, From Boxing day we have had numerous storms and above average rainfall, thankfully most of it falls at night so at least I can get some outside work done. Everytime the fields start to dry out it rains again....No cattle on any fields at present but the ground is still OK for sheep....Thanks for the concern.....
