International 504

Maybe a big bit of welding would help?.........
Drilling the holes precisely to match the mounting points on the tractor is the real important thing when doing conversions like this. Be careful as some tractors can handle stress better than others. I would advise looking for the proper loader.

With enough welding anything can work.

The 504 is a light duty tractor like a Farmall H. HP is closer of an M but isn't as heavy duty.

I think you want the loader sub-frame to attached to the rear axle and to some point close to the front axle. Look at the IH 2000, New Ideal or Johnson Workhorse loaders and how they attach.

Also you can notice the front axle flex when the bucket has over 1,000 lbs in it.

I don't think the 270 is a good match with the 504. Its designed for a specific tractor that has mounting surfaced in the transmission casting - designed specifically for the loader.

The 504 wasn't designed for this. It's clear that IH wanted the loader to attached to the rear axle - where one of the drawbar options attached to. Just look at the OEM loader designed for the tractor the IH 2000 and how it attaches.

Good luck
