COLD!!!!!

The weatherman just said we beat a record. We have now gone 46 days with below 0 temps. Makes it hard to get anything done outside. Running out of places to push the snow. -15 this morning!!!!! I'm starting to feel like a rodent. I can chuck as much wood as a wood chuck can chuck.

Only got 1 tractor have blade and tractor mounted wood splitter had big pile of wood to start but the way this winter has been have to keep splitting.problem is every time i take the blade off and put the splitter on it snows !! the neighbors are getting very unfriendly. i might have to change handle to tarred and feathered

Standard cab, long box pickup trucks are pretty rare up here nowadays(in the land where there are more pickup trucks than cars). Almost a "special order" from what I have heard. Everything has the extra seating and doors these days.

Is that the very southern end of the Black Hills there? Where is that in relation to your farming photos where there isn't one tree in a township?
I hunt deer about 25 miles south of Hot Springs SD and it looks like that (Fall River Co, on the Cheyenne River.

I ran out.Burn slabwood for shop heat.The sawmill ran out(first time in their history),local coal yards are out of lump.Been burning pallets,old lumber.....
