isuzu amigo fueling issue

Bought this thing a year ago, good runner, needs some body work, but this winter I"ve hardly been able to drive it. Had a bunch of water in the fuel, drained about a pint and a half out of the tank and filter. Filled it up twice since, and it"s dead again. I"m not hearing the pump run when I try to start it.

I"m thinking I"ll pull the floor up and check for voltage at the pump, then check ohms across the pump. Anyone else have any other ideas or know any tricks with these things? It"s a 90 with the 2.6.

I'm hoping there could be. But then where's it coming from? The F-150 that fills out of the boss' tank took a new fuel filter this week, but it's been getting filled out of that tank for 2 years on that filter.

What I am really hoping for is to find a loose wire on the pump when I get to it.

At least Isuzu saw fit to stick a drain plug in the fuel tanks on these.
