Boy, thats a smart way to do it...
Never thought of that. I am dealing with issues now, since I want to make plans to buy the home farm but I have two siblings...

Awww, great pics, Larry. Thanks for the rust too.

I will have to look through photos sometime... for where I grew up. Folks moved off the farm about 18 years ago. I only ever went back in the farmyard once...cried like a dang baby - not sure why.

Never even peeked into the house... Mom and dad visited the new owners a few years after selling the farm. They got a house tour...but when I was there, I never even peeked inside -- just want to remember it "the way it was".

I will get around to posting some old and new
pictures of grandparents farm one of these days
pictures start about 1900 and go until it was sold
in the late 90's. Some great pictures. Had them all
once, then computer was struck by lightning, this
is a new computer and haven't downloaded them from
back-up source yet.

(quoted from post at 13:41:14 02/02/14) yes,HE worked hard all his life, tough as nails, but not tougher than cigerettes, how sad is that

Yep, seems like most everyone smoked 'back in the day' - I did and it took me over 20 years to quit but now, I am not even tempted with way the new cigarettes smell
