Remember seeing something about helping but my work Exploder has been terrible this year with the bad weather and forgot.
WD-40, Seafoam, ????

Thanks in advance - You guys (and gals) are the best since Dear Abby quit writing me.

Get a spray can of silicone and spray all the door seals and all the window tracks when the windows are down. Keeps ice from sticking, and doors won't freeze shut. You can even spray some in the door locks.

silicone does destroy rubber, though.

I was once told to use vegetable oil, but, it made a mess out of the glass all summer long. Now, I just don't open the windows when they are froze.

Thanks John,
That's what I was forgeting about - Even have some in the garage!

PS: You going to hook up with the Glennster for the IL/IA YT and Oliver get together in Ioway?
Might have to raise the dues if you don't!

For getting ice off windows, make a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water. pour on window and it will cause the ice to come loose.

To avoid overspray, I spray silicon on a paper towel and then wipe it on the seals.

Windshield washer fluid will loosen ice on windows.

As for me , MY WHOLE TRUCK IS FROZE . The opening around Both doors are solid ice from top clean down to the running boards . Sooooo i do not think i am going anywhere any time soon . Knew i should have put that outside plug on the back of the house lastyear. And besides i am not going anywhere till the temp out side get close to my age .

If in a pinch I have used silicon. Better is to spray on thin coat of dry lubricant, typically containing teflon.

They don"t freeze up as bad if you leave them all rolled down. Then all you have to worry about is the windshield!

I have never heard that. I have used it for many years on my cars, trucks, and tractor cabs without any problems. I'm not doubting what you say is true, just I never had any problems.
