I have a Big A Fertilizer spreader with one of the the 555 Cummins engines. I"d really like to pick up a decent, running spare. Anyone have one lying around?

The guys at Loves Diesel Service run a small (father and son) shop in Midland, NC, about 5 miles from me, and they are known for their work on the Cummins engines. I can"t promise they will have anything lying around, but they might know somebody that does. Good luck.

Should be some laying around in wreckers from Versatile triple nickel tractors. Problem being finding a good one unless the axles snapped before the motor puked. lots of them blew up in the tractors.I think the flywheel boss snapped off the crank.
My neighbor had one in his shop swapped it for a straight 6 in his tractor.
Versatile triple nickel V8 with PTO option was the worst 2 things versatile could put together and sell.
