All,
I tried to read the responses previous and got lost.
I am apparently numerically challenged.
If propane is $4 per gallon corrected to 60 degrees F, and electric is $0.10 per kwh, which is cheaper to run per hour?
Assume and 80% efficient forced air furnace. I am assuming that leaving the lights on in the house would be cheaper.
To keep on topic, some tractors use LP, and the gasoline energy equivalent is documented.
Thanks in advance,
D.
