Tractor hauler repairs $$$$$$$

Well dropped off my KW for the clutch to be done because the adjuster ring in the clutch stripped... $ 2800 . Figured while the truck was down I would do brakes on 4 axles of my roll off trailer and torque rod bushings.... $ 1300 . Spending 10 hrs with my 9 yr old helping and learning with no smart azz attitude ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AND PRICELESS. I swear I don't know where my boy is but I like the one with me today. Wife made him strip at the door and go right to the shower. This gives me hope for the new gen coming to bat . Trucker

Sounds like quite a bit of money in repairs, but well worth
every cent to spend it with the next, or should I say current,
generation of tractor puller!

My father used to have me help him, and I would get a cuff 'side the head if I wasn't paying attention. That experience paid off later on in early jobs that I had, as employers had this idea that a worker who would pay attention was a good find.

This gives me hope for the new gen coming to bat

The next generation will be just fine.

Most of the problem is with the previous generation expecting that the next will exit the birth canal as a mature and responsible person. Maturity and responsibility take time to develop.

The rest of the problem is the overwhelming amount of media we're exposed to. Every irresponsible thing that's done is broadcast for the world to see these days. It's very easy to look at that and think that the world is going to hell in a handbasket, that stuff like that is happening "everywhere."

I really feel that the amount of shenanigans per capita going on is really not any worse than any other time in history. It just seems worse because everyone's taking pictures and posting them on the Internet!

There will always be irresponsible losers, but there will also be an overwhelming majority of generally good people.

I have been paying pretty close attention to the news for about fifty years. I don't recall anywhere near as many kids going into shopping centers and schools and shooting people to "get even" with someone who hurt their feelings a few years back, as there are now.
