cover for hydraulic reservoir

I am attempting to be sure that I have determined where the cover for the hydraulic fluid reservoir would be on my '52 Ford 8N, (place where one would add fluid). I realize that it is the same place you would put in transmission fluid, correct?
As I sit in the seat and look down at the gear shift, on the left and a bit toward the rear is a plate (cover plate) that's 3 inches in diameter and has a bolt head in the center. I would guess it is about 3/4 in. in size.
I think this IS the cover plate. On the opposite side, (the right side), beneath the seat is a "dipstick" that must be to check fluid level.
If I am incorrect I would appreciate a reply, I will thank all respondents in advance, John

John, you are correct. The NEXT thing to do is to order a book!Right here from YT.It will be the 'cheapest'30 bucks you will ever spend for your tractor. Then look up "50 tips for Ford tractors"

The pto control lever should be in a 5-6 in. dia cover plate behind your left heal when sitting in seat. Three in. dia. plate sounds like a mod/repair/non factory fix. You do have a pto don't you?

I already have the actual Ford Manual but although it has many diagrams and photos pointing out the various parts of the tractor it does not mention WHERE you would find the "Cap" to refill or add hydraulic fluid to the transmission and PTO and hydraulic "3 point links".
I'm referring to what I'll call a "Cap" just as one would refer to the cap that one uses to refill the coolant and/or the gasoline and/or the oil.
The "cap" for the hydraulics is not so much of an obvious "Cap" but there must be some sort of a cover plate to the system somewhere. I "think" it's atop the transmission just next to the gear shift lever. Am I right?

Yes, I know where the control lever for the PTO is, and yes I do have a PTO.
I'm asking about the 3 point hydraulic "system". Now I know that there is only one reservoir for all 3 things, the tranny, the 3 point and the pto. I just need to know for sure where one find the "cap" to add fluid to that system. I think it's right next to the gear shift lever, a bit to the left and a bit behind.
