03º with 20 mile wind and about an hour and a half it started to surge. Thought it was trying to gel up. I just bought two of the magnetic block heaters. I put one on the fuel filter and one under the fuel tank at the outlet. About three minutes and it smoothed out. I noticed frost on the fuel lines. I have 1/4 mix of kerosene with new diesel fuel. I was wondering if I wrapped the fuel lines to keep the fan from blowing directly over the fuel lines would help.
We are at a level 3 snow emergency and are under threat of arrest it caught on the roads. I plan on making it a stronger mix when the roads ore open. I have a half tank of fuel and am letting it heat up more before I go back to pushing snow. I have about another hour of pushing snow to feed the North lots. Warming the fuel might get the job done for today anyway.
Any Thoughts??

Bungie cardboard to the open sides of the tinwork.
Put a feed sack on the grill to restrict air intake. Jim
