Gotta love winter

Central Iowa 48 degress at 2:30 pm.AAt 4:30 pm 30 deg. At 10:00pm it is 10 degrees and dropping to neg 5 degrees. Add to that 20 to 35 mph wind from the NW. Time to hunker down and put another log on the fire. And no we don't gotta love winter, we just live? thru it. gobble
 

Central Ohio, prediction is 1" snow/RAIN then a high of 8 tomorrow, then arctic COLD with -30 wind-chill predicted..

Finally got a chance to plow my Drives today but with the rain possibility, I hooked onto the Spike-Toothed Harrow and roughed everything up all I could.
I do not appreciate that Ice..!!

I got some darned GOOD (cheap) Cleats that are handy and will fit in your pocket..

In the morning... 40* North wind 25mph Not good!

Tuesday morning...20* North wind 10mph Hate it!

I know, I'm a wuss. I just can't imagine surviving one of your winters! Seriously, I don't know how you do it, ya'll tougher than me!
 
NO, I don't have to like it, and you can't make me!!!!!! :lol:

We had as bad, if not worse, winters in the late 70's and early 80's.
 
Sunday night at 10:30 PM it was -8 now at 5:00 AM Monday morning it is -16 and most likely still dropping. This is 20 miles south of Minneapolis. The high Monday is supposed to be somewhere around -6 or so. Stay warm
 
I usually play hockey on Tuesdays at 1:30 and Friday at noon, I am just wondering if its too cold to play hockey? Supposed to be windchill of -30 F tomorrow.
