hydraulic quick disconnects... questions

Nedd pointed me to Pioneer and I learned a few things. I see they have fittings compatible with my original SC and many others (ISO). Since one of my aux hyd lines is missing, I'm planning to replace both with something new. What would you guys choose to be the most useful today? I may get a splitter and who knows what else but right now I don't use the hydraulics and I would like to restore the system to working condition. Thanks, C.

There is an ISO Pioneer coupler that North American equipment uses. Implement dealerships and farm stores will carry male tips and female couplers with the brackets. You can get adapters to go from J.I. Case to ISO, also. $20-$30 each.

TSC has a nice selection of couplers at reasonable prices. I have been using their couplers for years. No compalints.

There are 2 types of pioneer, that I have experience with. I have an ASV RC30, that I continually swap attachments, sometimes several times during a cold day. On that, I like the double acting ones, the ones that the sliding collar is about twice as thick, as the single acting pioneers. The difference, is that on the double acting type, you can push the collar in, to latch (or unlatch) or pull it out to latch (or unlatch). Depending on how your hose mounts, this can speed up the connection time.
