thought for today....

Wouldn't take much in my case; wife is more tight fisted than I am. I have to often encourage her to spend some money. I always get the old "I wouldn't buy it if you weren't here".

When she was little, whenever someone gave her a nickel, she would walk through all the stores in town and would never see anything worth parting with that nickel!
 
My wife doesn't spend much, so that's not the problem. The problem in my house is tractors, trucks, kids and uncontrollable expenses like insurance and taxes.... My 2 cents

Yes, I would have over spent without my wife's guidance. We are not wealthy but we have lived a good life and are in position to have a good retirement.

There is a nice Farmall 460 and a '57 International pickup that I would like to............Oh, honey I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE LOOKING OVER MY SHOULDER! No, I am not buying those just dreaming with my friends. (grin)

Sam, a lot of folks on here must be of Scottish descent, they seem to be quite Thrrrrifty! LOL
 
My wife is of Scottish decent.Spends money wisely.I guess opposites do attract! LOL
