Well, I just sealed the deal on a Farmall Super C. 1951, loader, snow blade, good tires and chains, and a field disc. What I would like to know though, is why on some Farmall C's on the serial plate, it says FC?? I assume it stands for Farmall C, however, just a few minutes ago I was talking to a JD collector, and he thinks it means that they were built in France???? If this is the case, are they any more valuable? Because both of my C's and now this Super C say FC on them?? Thanks, Bryce

FC is normal. Hs say FBH, Ms say FBK, As say FAA. Nobody knows why, as far as I have heard. That is just how they did it.

Alright, good to know. So, basically that is just their serial number, rather than where they were built? I know that some M's were built in Australia.

They were built in Louisville started in late 47 after the production of the Bs as in 47 the Bs were built both in Chicago and Louisville Bs built in Louisville serial #s started at 200,000 The As were also built in both places in 47

I saw this French Super C Diesel at a tractor show last fall.
The show was at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, IL

Well, I for sure don't have a French one! After doing a little research, I now believe that this one has a Henderson Model E front loader on it! Not sure from the pictures, I will make sure to post some Saturday when we go and get it though! Here is a flyer that was on Flea Bay. Bryce

That Henderson looks nothing like the IH loader on my 53 SC. Mine has IH cast in the bearing caps.
