I'd forgotten that this is an election year, but I just saw the first reminder. The first political commercial of the year. Not an ad for anybody, just a negative ad AGAINST somebody who is apparently running for a state office.
Oh joy,let the games begin.

Stick around, it's only going to get better--or worse! Can't wait to hear what genius is going to tell us how to fix everything without actually doing anything.

We have already had a political ad here, the guy says he is going to create good, high paying jobs. Great, but he did not say how he was going to do it. Waste of TV time.

The candidates for governor here in Illinois, where the last couple governors next office was the federal pen, started running commercials right before christmas. Not sure i'd what that office when i would almost be sure to be a member of Club fed next!

We have a Senator in Tennessee who has been in office for two terms (actually 11 years as of now, will be 12 years at the end of this term).

He started running ads last summer for his re-election this fall. He has everything worked out. If we simply re-elect him, he'll solve all of the nation's problems.

I just have to wonder where he's been for the past 11 years. He certainly hasn't fixed anything yet.

You can,t be talking about Lemar, Notice the commercial was shot where he was trying to stop the Corps from stopping the fishing below the dam.Like has he eve done anything ?

Wichchester1- he's creating 1 good high paying job, for himself! I say put'em on commission, they get a percentage of our economy, they screw up and crash the economy they get less money. Just saw one were a women running for Governor of Texas has been caught in a big lie, claims she was "single teenage mom, divorced at 19" problem was she didn't get the divorce until she was 21. Made claims about working her way through law school (that was paid for by her 2nd husband, who she filed for divorce on the day after he made the last payment) Seems she may of lied under oath to congress, yet no D.A will touch the perjury charge, Hmm wish I could commit felonies and walk, but then I'd have to become a nnalert.

i havent seen one yet, but what tv i watch is recorded, so i can skip the commercials, i feel that what we need with these politicians is for each candidate to put in writing what he will do if elected, and how he plans to make it happen then he needs to be held to that document if he wins that might put a new twist on things, its easy to talk and run your oponet down, its much harder to take control and have a workable plan

You'd think the people of Illinois would be running to vote for nnalert considering how many former nnalert governors are now sitting in jail cells.
