The crew working on my new tractor barn/garage addition were using this at lunch time today for a little warmth.

Just a metal bucket with some small air holes and one larger one for draft or loading. Wife was home all day and all she said was they must not have stopped long for lunch. Said nothing about seeing any smoke. Certainly not anything that could be burned for long. First I have seen .

never sat one like that ,I have put diesel fuel iin an open top 5 gal . can ,and light it with a rag , it will burn on top for hr,s smokes a lot but if it all you got , out side only a true redneck heater , tom

They work great and put out lots of heat. Use sawdust packed in the 5 gallon bucket with a 1 1/2 " to 2" hole down the middle. A few twigs in the bottom vent to start the fire and she is good to go.

You can even cook on them.

I'll post up descriptions later.
