OT my last night

Well it's my last night in long term care at the hospital in Pella Iowa. Just over 5 years as a nurse. I was an aide for 6 years before that. A corporation bought out the LTC part and I will be working for them, but not with most of my residents. a lot of these fols are like my mom & dad or my grandma and grandpa. Lots of love goin their way and some old tractor stories too, just to keep it relevant. Thanks for lettin me share.

it takes a special person to handle a job like that and it shows if you know about tractors and the story that goes with them it would tell me you cared for them not as a job or patient but a person thanks i have friends in nursing homes and its one of the things we can be greatfull for that our loved ones have good people looking after them

Best of luck to you, Leedog!! I have a SIL whose husband lost his job when the local IP paper mill shut down and only had about 6 months before full retirement. He went to local community college, got his radiology tech degree/license and likes it better than he ever did at IP. He's a good people person like you appear to be and makes folks feel at ease.
