My Son and I went three times. I killed a spike and He got a big doe. Which is just what we need to carry us through the year. How did Yall do? Sorry... You Guys.

Only saw three or four in ten days. Didn't get one. Ohio in it's infinite wisdom is cutting the herd, the take was down 25-30 percent this year. And we had good snow cover too.

Did good in Northern Illinois. 2 with bow and one small doe with muzzleloader. Still have this weekend to finish season. Hoping for 1 more to share with folks at work. Everybody"s asking for venison!

My hunting buddy took a spike and I got a nice doe.
I cooked the heart last night. Cut it up in pieces, boiled it and made soup out of it.
Sent a container off with the bride this AM for her lunch today. She was tepid about eating it but after tasting it last night liked it well enough to want it again for lunch.

Casenut, you must not farm and know what deer damage is and what a cost it is.90% of Deer hunters are the laziest-most worthless hunters out there(trophy hunters).I hear the same story every year, but if I wanted to,could shoot at least 2 every day and at one point last year 10 at the same time.(during gun season)If one had the firepower.Rant over.

7 Point with bow, 5 point with rifle. Both in MI. Only the second time in 46 years I got 2 bucks in the same year.

I pretty much the whole season, I I work and hunt the same farms and got 2 for me and nobody else wanted any but I usually get one to eight. There are plenty deer here.

Well officially our season ended last Saturday.
I don"t hunt archery anymore but hunt in rifle
season & muzzle loader... Here in N/W Pa it is
unlawful to shoot any buck like those pictured
above if your adult hunter, those are not big
enough too shoot,( Dumbest law in the world)
Because those are the best eating... I did see
antlers in season both were too small to shoot
at. So I did shoot a Doe & my Step father shot
a Nice buck that had lost it"s antlers.. The
small group of guys I hunt with for muzzle
loaders we killed 4 deer out of 6 guys. Even
killed two last Saturday in a all day rain.
I was one of the ones who waited till the very
last day & the last 1/2 hour of hunting time
left, too shoot & kill a Butten buck. To my
surprise after pushing deer all day my hawkin
fired! & Even more surprised when I hit a
running 60 yard shot in the woods....

Our son got this nice one, not a record but nice, tastes good too! Weighed 188 field dressed. My wife and I both got smaller bucks. No doe permits for us this year, probably be worse next year. This winter started out bad, and it's a long way from over.

My Son got a big 10 pt. with bow, I got an 8 pt. with rifle and my buddy got an 8 pt. with muzzleloader.

Late bow season was cold, windy, and no luck. The big one with the double droptines will have to wait until next year....only 8 months away and can"t wait!

Been eating venison at least 3 times a week....

Did not this year. The combining in the mud took most of my time during the good part of the season and I had lost interest by the time I was finished. Any way I still had a lot of venison left from last year.

My daughter and my grandson each got a nice buck here on the farm so I figure it was a good season.

In some parts of the country those really aren't that small of bucks! Went to upper Michigan snowmobiling and saw several that size mounted. I asked why you would mount a small one? Guy looked at me and said heck that's a dandy for around here

I did excellent,If I told you how many I shot I would probally have to shoot you.Season stays in untill the last of march in VA,I might not be done yet.As far as crop damage theres fields around here thats not worth combinding becaues of deer.Ive planted 200 tomato plants the last 3 years and have never got a tomato yet becaues of deer. There running in large groups now, nothing to see 30-50 deer in a bunch

Was a very poor year here in Missouri and that is not just me but many I have talked too. Opening day it was way to warm and windy then it went from windy to rain so all in all not good. Most years I take 2 or 3 if not more but this year I only got one.

I gave up. The first morning of the rifle season, I was in a ground blind and two big does walked past about 20 feet away. I let them go 'cause a buddy of mine kept talking about this big buck he'd been seeing when he was bow hunting.

I only saw two more deer, probably does, from a distance the rest of the season. But I had other irons in the fire and couldn't go out all the time.

The rifle season harvest in Nebraska wasn't much more than half of a usual season. We lost a lot of critters to that fever they got last year. Wasn't harmful to humans, but it killed deer by the dozens.

A lot better then the past couple . I got a decent as i call him a 7 1/2 point and the grand total was two doe and four bucks out of our group. during shot gun season.

Took a three point opening day of early blackpowder season, and shot three does one evening during shotgun season with a blackpowder rifle. Saw plenty of brown every night I was out. I didn't go out during late blackpowder season or this last shotgun weekend. But, I still have about twenty five does we can shoot on a crop damage permit....

Got two and a half and never fired a shot. Found them laying in hay fields. By next spring those sharp little bones would be tire killers.
