had to do some tree trimming, this is a big willow tree and there brittle dont need it hanging over the house, my old 1970 ford hydraulic ladder truck is so much better than a extension ladder on the ground plus it has a handy bucket on the top to stand in i got 35 foot of height on the truck,and a 16 foot pole saw up in the bucket with me makes it almost enjoyable

The only place I will tolerate a willow is out in a swamp! Any drainage you have right around there will be ruined.

gone now, the thing was a vonteer years ago, i never did figure out where it came from as we dont have willow trees around the place, no drainage here the shade was nice but i got to worrying about it breaking and hitting the house, no way you could cut and run with it this close to the house one proffessional tree service refused the job, of course he didnt have a truck like this

Willows get into all kinds of pipes underground. If you don't need a willow to soak up wet ground it is often best to get rid of it. When they get old they drop sticks everywhere too.
