I think you probably have a leaking rear main seal on the motor, or front transmission case seal. Either way you need to split the tractor, to see which it is.

You normally have four holes on the bottom of the tractor- all normally with plus in them. The front one is the crankcase. The second one is the transmission, the third and fourth are the hydraulic system and the differentials. They should be threaded. Anything else is a genuine hole and you got real problems....

I think what you are seeing is the drain hole in the bottom of the clutch housing.should have a cotter key in it to keep it clear.there should not be oil in this housing. has your engine or transmission oil level noticeably dropped when you check the dipstick? sometimes the drain hole will plug up and seepage from transmission seal or engine rear main will accumulate in clutch housing.

I meant to add that I am guessing this is a massey TO35 ? you may get more specific answers on the Massey forum.

its cold. pressure is extra high.. the rear seal is probably leaking. If its a rope seal, then you need to run it a while and it will swell back up and quit leaking. The hole is the drain hole on the clutch housing, at least that's what I'm guessing.

The hole is supposed to be there! Normally has a cotter pin in it to keep it open. It stops leaking seals from getting oil on the clutch.

I agree with the cotter pin idea. Yours having no cotter pin has probably plugged up and allowed some oil to accumulate. This has probably unplugged itself with all the cold weather you guys are suffering and thus it is now leaking. As long as it does stop dripping or gets no worse it is fine to run the tractor, just keep an eye on oil levels (engine and trans). If it gets to be an excessive drip then split the tractor and sort the oil seals.
