Massey ferguson 33 grain drill are they a ok drill?

Yes good drills. If you are buying check it over well, parts might be a concern. Used a 43 for several years, just a bigger box version of the 33.
Ran a JD 8300 and IH 510 and the Massey did as good of a job planting as they.

Problem would be scaricty, none around, never seen a massey drill so no parts or anybody that would know how to use or repair one. They may be a good drill, don't know but I sure would not pay any more for one than I could get at scrap dealer. When none around equals no parts, no repairing, only scraping.

Very popular in some areas we got one new in the 70's and it was a good drill in its day.Parts are rediculously expensive.I bought a #10 IH rather than replace the cups at the tops of the tubes.Friend replaced his when the opener bearings got bad.
