just a update on the old farm truck im refurbishing, i shot the paint yesterday it came out good considering its outside, still got some more to do but its begining to look like a truck again, to recap im doing this for a friend he bought this 1957 chevy brand new, and still owns it, back in the early 70's when pickups got to where they could haul a trailer faster than this old girl will run it was parked beside a barn, it never moved, untill i picked it up last year

should have added this is the original color it had when i removed the hood ordament there was a patch of perfectly preserved original paint under it, i took the hood off and went to town and had the original color matched

Up here in the frozen waste land if you tried to shoot paint outside you would have paint cubes ding the sheet metal. Still 58 degrees below comfort levels.

ive been waiting over 2 weeks for it, if i have the thing inside i cant see good enough to paint well, yesterday for most of it was calm and in the low 60's , southern nm

c'mom, i still have to finish this one , have a farmall, 2 stock trailers, my 3trucks,and possibly a kenworth to paint, and i guess i should go to my regular job once in awhile too lol

lincoln county, im about 50 miles west of roswell and 19 miles southwest of lincoln, where billy the kid escaped and shot up a bunch of folks in the 1880's

I guess it was you somebody told me the other day I was close . Came East to west on 380 I am thinking. Went down to Alamogordo and out at Las Curces ..Just love that part of the country. Somebody on here was around Hundo valley. Think I may come back out before long.
