I have a mf 150 with a 4 cyl perkins gas engine does anyone have any info on this eng. I worked at mf dealership years ago and never saw this engine. THANKS

ask over at m ferguson for more info ,, bet thats same motor in my mf 300 combine ,, powerful ,, and a real fuel sipper... should be a great tractor

You don't have a "4-cylinder Perkins gas engine". No such animal in a 150. You have EITHER a 4-cylinder CONTINENTAL gas engine, OR, a 3-cylinder PERKINS gas engine. (All diesel 150's are Perkins 3-cylinder)

Either way, the Perkins AND the Continental gassers are really efficient, long lasting engines.

The only gasser I'm familiar with in MF300 combines was a Chrysler 6-cylinder. The Perkins and/or Continental's used in the 150 are the same engines used in the 135, both in the 38hp (+ or -) range.

There was a 4-cylinder Perkins gas used in the MF165. But it would be quite a bit longer than the Perkins gas engine used in the 150.

I know you are rite ,, just reread to see his 150 is a gasser ,, when I saw perkins in earlier post , in my mind I connected to my diesel perkins combine engine...
