Diesel in oil, Perkins 3 cylinder

Hi all, I have a Massey Ferguson 20-C with a perkins 3 cylinder diesel.
I am now getting lots of diesel in the oil pan and running out through what seems to be the main seal when engine was running.
I shut it down immediately after I noticed this.
Engine was rebuilt a couple of years ago and was running great when this happened.
Fuel pump was replaced recently.
I am thinking it is a bad injector pump seal.
Any thoughts and suggestions gladly received.
Thanks,

Injector pump seal was on my mind before I finished reading the question...

But, might still take a look at the fuel pump, lot easier to check, and just because it's new...

Either the (lift) fuel pump, or injector pump. Mike's First Rule: Check the easiest thing first. Lift pump, in this case.

If the supply pump is not leaking then the injection pump is next. Have been repairing this problem on more pumps lately than in the past. The seals and O rings get hard and brittle over time and then the leaks start to show up.

Abbut...have you a inlet manifold heater element? They are prone to leaking a lot of fuel into the sump. As said before, also check the fuel lift pump on the righthand side and have your injectors tested before going into opening the main injector pump.
