I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS !@#$

I finally found out what the limit of a case 222 garden tractor with a plow . 14" is just to much to deal with. I am surprised how much it will do,it will push and push till you run out of traction. I will have a blower on it for next time !

I hear ya! My little Ford Ns don't want to push this stuff either.
Even with chains. They're just not heavy enough.
Had the Jubilee out with the loader on it again last night.
It doesn't have chains on it though, so I have to be very careful not
to drop the front wheels off the driveway or it will sit and spin on the ice.

You guys know there's an answer to this don't you?

The 149 cub cadet isn't big enough for it either. I went out for 10 minutes and put it away. BIL will be here later with the truck and plow.

SHOW OFF !!!!!!!!!!! Right now I would kill to have a loader to move the banks back. working them with a 22" 2 stage blower from my MIL house. Please be care full with the temps I don't want to here about missing toes and fingers. Trucker

Well........not really what I had in mind. I haven't even bothered to plow my own yet. Got no where to go,so I'm waiting for the wind to let up so I only have to do it once.

This little case is amazing on what it will move, if I have another 300 lbs on it I could move the banks back. All hyd power is pretty amazing. Sounds like we all needed blowers this year.

I may go get the snow blower out later.
I have one mounted on a Ford LGT with chains and a cab.
It works ok, but the blade on the front of the 2N is much faster.
When it can get through that is!
Heat houser's not too bad temp wise, but I don't have the back
cover so the wind really whips in there at times.

I cleaned the drive at 10 am. Then I took my mother to the ER as she fell. Just returned home and as I was watching my neighbor stuck in his yard I found myself stuck in the middle of my drive. Thats with my four wheel drive 2500 HD. I had to back up a couple of times to get through. The wind is blowing so hard you can't hardly see, temp shows 3 degrees. Boy,I sure like winter in Michigan.

At least you got a snowblower to use mine dont wanna stay running this year. Carb really needs cleaning. Oh well guess thats what FEL on 2N is for with weighted tires, chains and drum full concrete on back is for. Long as she starts in the cold that is. The battery tender sure helps.

I'd have to rig something up that would clear the ground when
the three point is all the way down since the front blade runs
off the three point via a cable.
It usually does pretty well. Tires are loaded plus the chains.
I did buy a set of inside the rim weights for it, but haven't put
them on yet. Maybe next season. LOL

we didn"t get any of the snow we have heard others got.
just colder than blue blazes, heck it"s so cold the fire in burning barrel has froze i guess we will have to wait for spring thaw for that too.
tall kid just showed me a picture of road sign for a place called Hell covered with ice, he said i think this means the Cubs will win the World Series as Hell has froze over

I didn't even get my bota out. I have a 28 inch walkbehind snowblower, went out and did the drive with that. I went out later and did the path to the animals and shop. Also a path to the dog's favorite poopy place. I don't mind this much, hated the ice storm and the power outage.

My Ford 4000 row crop had a hard time dealing with today's snow. Narrow front end just wants to plow through the snow without turning. Brakes aren't really effective for steering; I suspect they're iced up. Fortunately I have chains or I'd be stuck for certain. I can only think of one other time in the past twenty years we've had this much snow to plow.

I never thought I'd be jealous of those who have snow, but I still wish I had a little here. Got the loader out this afternoon and was scraping up what little we do have to haul to a bare spot so a pipe won't freeze and the tractor started jelling so in the warm shop it went and my snow hauling was over for awhile. Gotta run to the truck stop to get some #1. Jim

I moved snow for years with my 3020. Then about 6 years ago bought a 1840 skidloader.. Havent moved snow with 3020 since. I dont have that much to clear only 350 feet or so. Did find out that once the drive melts and freezes I needed chains on the rear to move the snow on ice..lol Although the 3020 with chains I havent ever got stuck..cant say that about the 1840 loader ..

Got my 460 w/chains on setting in the shop, havent had to push any of that white stuff this winter yet. S.west Ia

I agree. Here is my snow pusher. At -30 the heater doesn't feel like it's doing much until you get out. My old one didn't have a cab. The second picture is my son on the old tractor a few years ago.

I live about 8 miles west of Hell. A neighbor had a live in that wanted to get married, and he kept saying "When Hell froze over". One day like this she went to Hell and got a pic of that same sign, and they were married about 8 months later. Sadly, he was found dead in his bathroom suddenly about a year ago.

I've plowed up to 18" and drifts even taller with my John Deere 140 and 54" blade. I have 125 lbs. in each wheel with chains. I can pile snow till the tractors stands straight up and down. Been doin it for over 20 years. I have an Areins 48" 2 stage blower on my Simplicity Sunstar but without a cab it's next to impossible to use unless you can get the wind behind you. Not always possible in town doing driveways.

Maybe just run it down the road once Aaron, that way the gas
guys can get out here and deliver propane before I run out!

Spent about 3 hours plowing snow this morning, John Deere A with a blade on the loader. Finally had to go with just the bucket, got stuck and had to shovel out twice, makes for slow going. Maybe I ought to look for some chains?

Crud!!! I really feel for you guys, and, feel a little guilty about telling you this but it was in the 60s again here today. Friend from New Mexico stopped by and we sat on the porch and hunted deer and elk for a couple of hours. Below freezing at night but really nice during the day.
