My weather report

Considering the bad weather and nasty news reports about the same, it wasn't a bad trip to U of M, Ann Arbor, MI today. God must have been talking to the road crews. They plowed my road sometime between last night and 7am this morning. Unheard of on a Sunday night, especially with bad weather. All the main roads were plowed and in good shape, near St Johns, all the way to Lansing and beyond to U of M. The worst was my own driveway. I had to plow it again this morning, even though I did it last night, just to get to the road. Stopped in Lansing to pickup Bro-in-law and his street was bad but the alley behind was plowed. WOW. Now just need to make it back home.

They are saying we had about 12" of snow. Had to get Bro-in-law to UofM to see doc, due to throat cancer. He is 49 and smoked since 16.

sorry to hear about cancer hes lucky to have you. in 1956 when i was born doc told my mom to smoke figured it relax her must known whats coming. funny thing she smoked for 40 + years and no trouble

The snow plow went by here about 6:30am. Traffic is moving alright. I didn't even bother to plow any snow yet. Didn't have any trouble feeding. Everything started. As usual,seems like a big bunch of overblown nothing.
About the most extreme thing I've done yet was to let an old cat in the backroom who didn't look too good in the barn.

I agree very overblown. But maybe I just remember when we used to have this kinda weather. I keep thinking back to the 70's and 80's when this was all winter

OH and Lansing/Ingham Co has Animal Control patrolling for dogs left outside. They have been putting in the news to turn in your neighbor if you see a dog outside.
