I have a 1330SE that has the shute and flapper frozen up the last 2 days. This has never happened before. Today the flapper has been working after soaking the screw with pentating oil. Tonight I loosened the rotating gear on the chute. I can bring it into the garage and warm it up and it will work but got it out yesterday at 15 degrees and it froze up in 5 minutes. It did the same thing this PM. Trying to get it going for this weekend's snow. Called a dealer that said it is electrial. I can't figure deere'a wiring out. Thought about putting a pipe on the exhaust and shooting it down this area without melting too much plastic. Anybody out there had problems like this.

You have moisture in there where something needs to be able to move, so it freezes and it is stuck. I would try a heavy application of hair dryer to drive the moisture out. Follow that with WD-40.
