Best Christmas Eve ever with photos

Had a Christmas Eve church service at 11 AM yesterday at the 1850's Center Methodist Church in our community. The last service was held there in the 1930's. My son and his fiance and another friend restored the inside over the past few month's and decorated the church. My son played the organ and we had hymns, a cello player and a little Bluegrass at the end of the service. Three local ministers, a Baptist, a Presbyterian and a Wesleyan read parts of the Christmas story. I counted 100 people at the service. You might remember the post about the wood stove I had a leg cast for.

Richard G.,

Nothing better than Christmas service in an old country church.

The stove looks beautiful! It is really unique.

Thanks for sharing your photos. Merry Christmas.

Looks like they did a great job on that old church, they should be proud they were able to bring an old building back to life. Merry Christmas.
