Wisconsin TFD Value

Hi all, I have a NewHolland 68 Hayliner, and it has a Wisconsin TFD on the front of it for a power source. However the engine is in really bad shape, and today I fumbled upon a guy that has a little bit older NH baler, with the same engine on it. It is supposed to run, but he says that it has a sticking valve. He told me either I need to buy the entire baler, or just the engine, so what is a good value for one or both? Baler was in use and working great until they decided to park it. What do yall think? Bryce

I purchased a TFD with hand clutch, at an ETTRICK
Wisconsin Auction, For $35, Crank start, Another,
with no clutch, but electric start, was $45 at
a Houston county Minnesota Auction, Another, with
New Holland decals, was $75, valves were stuck,
removed the head, got them loose,$18 for new head
gasket, $32 for NAPA carb kit, made a nice running
engine.. Generally, a working magneto, or a good
starter costs more than a complete engine.
