Can someone tell me what the difference was in the Gleaner K, E, & G?? I know the F and M were bigger but the first three look pretty similar to me.

E came first, precursor to the K. Both were narrow three walker machines. K and F were made at the same time as the G, G being largest. M was larger yet, made after the G. Late 70s the K2, F2, M2,L2 appeared. 3 series about 1983.

The C and G series were rare around here. G was slightly larger than F, believe it Was a tad older than the F series. Early G heads were too wide, later G headers were convert able to the F throat.

Not sure where the C fit in, but about the same size kinda.

Never seen an E or a K in my area but my dad owned an A and a CII I own a G that needs a new home 20ft ridged head and 6rn corn head. The A was a small machine in our area think a 14ft head the CII had an 18ft just to give you an idea of the capacity. This is in dryland wheat and milo country.
