[color=black:9fde889e28][/color:9fde889e28] Does anybody know if remote hydraulics can be fitted to a MF 135 (1976) Tractor . Our local dealer says its not possible but I would like to fit a Hyd top link and would need 2 way spool valve with live Hydraulics.

To do that AND still have the 3 point working WITHOUT changing a diverter valve the tractor needs to have the auxillery hydraulic pump fitted.
If you do not have the auxillery pump and don"t mind changing a diverter valve over to divert oil to your new remotes or the 3 point then kits are available to do this.
The auxillery pump was only available as an option on multi-power tractors only. If the pump is fitted then there will be pressure and return connections fitted to the left side of the rear end casing above the PTO blanking plate.
If you do not have the pump then probbably the only economical(but it will still be expensive) way to run your remotes would be to have a belt or crankshaft driven hydraulic pump fitted or one from the engine power take off but you may have a power steering pump already in that location.

It is still possible to plumb your 135 with remotes even it has no
auxillary pump. But you do need a diverter valve in place of the
transfer plate on top of the lift cover. To use both the lift and
hydralic top link with out a lot of switching at the diverter, take
the feed supply from the diverter to the input side of the
spool/remote block, take a return to the small allen keyed bung
on the left side of the lift cover, just in front of the cross-shaft.
Then plumb your single acting remote into the bung on the right
side, just below the diverter valve and take your spare valves to
quick attach couplers at the rear of the tractor. To use, simply
turn your diverter to the remotes and put the tractor in constant
pumping and leave it there. To operate the 3 point use the single
acting spool, use the other spools as normal. I like to use a quick
attach on the line from the valve to the right side of the lift
cover. That way it can be used if you need to operate a single
acting ram or if you need to plough and use the draft control, it
can be disconnected and the diverter switched back to operate
the 3 point as normal.
I have fitted this system to many 100 series tractors and it
works!

i had one put on my 1964 mf-35 diesel ,i now have a
small valve on top the trannyalmost right under the
front of the seat,it has a little leaver about the
diameter of a pencil but only about 4 inches
long, when not in use it is sticking straight up when
i want to use the remote it kinda lays down pointing
to the rear of the tractor.the valve handle it self
and the hook ups are mounted on the right side
fender.works great.

Yes. Your dealer needs to do his homework.

You will need the optional hydraulic valve accessory that bolts to the lift cover in place of the accessory plate.

These are not too common but do become available in the used market from time to time.

I had one on a MF 35 that I once had.

My 2007 533 (late model version of the 135) has double remote circuits but the arrangement used on it is much different than that used on the 35/135.

I had a kit put on my 231 from Massey when I brought it. It was one of the provisions of the deal when I purchased the tractor. I paid an extra 500 bucks but I think the kit retailed for more.
I believe it is the same thing they use on your 135. It runs off the 3 point pump, I have a valve that you turn to run either the 3 point or the remote. Works OK for me. I even run a wood splitter with it and it does OK. I use it on a 8ft. transpot disk and my lift on my corn picker. Not the fastest thing or the most powerful but it good enough for me.

Do you have any pics? I am thinking of doing something like this on a 240.

If I bought A-VFD1104 I still need to move lever on switch before using remote, but my 3pt still works?

If I bought A-47S731 I can't use my 3pt at all?
