TA40 crawler dozer

Not placing that model number- might it be an IH T340? What breed is it?

I looked at a T340 with 6 way blade one time- would have been a handy unit, but everything was so loose I was afraid to run it, for fear I'd throw a track and the old guy would expect me to put it back on. He demonstrated it for me, and I was gritting my teeth the whole time.

(quoted from post at 15:59:50 12/12/13) Ive got this TA40 unit, not complete, want to sell, anyone know of a buyer?

Well Jason. 1. you ain't supposed to list ads here, there is a section for that. 2. Photo ads works better. 3. Price and location are important.

So is it a Terex TA40? This is a site mostly about old tractors. You may be in the wrong spot. Also listing the brand is important. IH made a TD series dozer. Lot of folks here might think the TA is a typo. There is a page here dedicated to construction equipment too.

International Harvester made a TA40 crawler tractor in the 1930s. It used the 6-cylinder FBB truck engine.

Jason, if you want to sell it, put it up for sale in the classified or photo ad section of this website, upper lefthand corner. There is always Craig's list too. Plus there are several magazines geared towards old tractors in which you could place ads. Red Power Magazine and Antique Power to name a couple.
