HI Guy;s

I have a JD4410 that occassionally has a rear end noise that sounds like something banging/hammering in the rear end. It sounds like a couple of marbels banging together. I put on a front mount blower for the first time and now when the PTO is on and you raise the front blower to the max, it really bangs. Have any of you heard of this and should I be concerned. It just starting happening this summer. Your feedback is appreciated.

Well, don't raise the blower to the max... Seriously, probably raising it that high probably puts a bind in the drive system, and that causes the hammering. Bad noises are warnings. Don't run it that way until you figger it out. Could be nothing more than a u-joint binding a bit. Not being able to see and work it, that's the best I can come up with.

Thanks guys
it is going to be a hard one to figure out. it makes the noise at idle and goes away when you rev it up. It only makes it a high RPM when the blower is at the max. Going to be diffficult.

Thanks again

Kevin
