Finished up my truck tonight, and I noticed the u bolts holding the drive shaft on are a little loose. Tried to tighten them up and twisted it right off....

Looks like the truck is gonna spend one more night inside after all. I was hoping to go for a test drive tonight and drive it to work tomorrow but I guess it'll have to wait now till tomorrow night....

Extremely true, but still frustrating. I should have put a wrench on it last night. Then today when I was getting a brake hose for the passenger side (or later on, calipers for both sides) I could have gotten those as well. I guess I'll have to head over to the autoparts store after the dentist tomorrow afternoon.

So far I think my parts and materials costs are a little over $500 for everything. Couldn't imagine if I had to have a shop do it, although it would've been done in a day or 2, instead of 2 weeks.
