Update seat belt fix

Went to ebay and found a seat belt retractor for cars from the 60'. Works better than expected. Does not make it unsafe either.

Looks like I got the last one from this seller.

Those things worked very well! I bought a set for a 64 Impala that I had and they held up very well. Kept the belts neat,too.

My goal is to keep the belt out of the door. This seems to be working.

I commend you on your search for a problem solver... Me I have lived with it. My luck at repairing a retractor is about 10% if that,,, I don't go their if I can get out of it, I have had better luck pizz'n in the wind...

HOBO, I've been retired for 10 years. This time of the year I have to invent things to keep me busy. I find more enjoyment watching paint dry than football. I would just as soon hit my finger swinging a hammer than watch TV. If you haven't guessed it by now, I'm running out of things to do. Have a real bad case of cabin fever. I need tractor theorpy in a real bad way. Not many people want it to snow, but that will give me seat time on tractor pushing snow.
