I have posted on the toy board, but thought I might try here as well. I am looking for the 1/16 scale toys for my 4 year old Grandaughter. Not having a lot of luck at the local farm stores or the local Case IH dealerships.

They have toys, just not the ones I want.

Also having a hard time finding just a plain ole wagon. Not gravity box.

I want something she can haul her dolls, crayons, marbles, etc in.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Oh, and I have searched on the web some, but still didn't find just what I wanted. Everyone has a 706, but with the "heathouser" on it. I know I could take that off, but why pay for something I dont want?

Thanks, Gene

Most of the 1/16 toys these days are extremely detailed, even the cheap ones. Not real great for 4 year olds. Too easy to break.

Unfortunately the lesser detailed tractors are also too easy to break. You can't win.

You may not be able to find a specific model suitable for a 4 year old.

Outback Toys is a good source. Also Minnesota Ag Group.

Theer are a bunch of them on Ebay.

I would be careful and just buy something at a toy store. Some toy tractors are not meant for small children and pose a choking risk when parts fall off. Former EMT.

OK, everyone that came back to me on this subject is hereby granted status as honorary "paw paw/Santa Claus"

I had checked at several TSC's, but they didn't have the H. or a 706. Tammy had to travel North Central Mo. Wed. for work and we stopped at all the IH dealers and farms stores that we came across. No luck.

I got on the web site that one of you provided, saw it was what I wanted. It was only available in stores, so I called the ones in my immediate area. Columbia Mo. didn't have it, but Fulton did. They held it and we fought rush hour traffic out of Jefferson City and had the tractor within an hour.

Thanks so much guys. And, I am also gonna check out he Outback toys.

You guys are the best!!

Gene

For some reason my youngest daughter wanted a toy tractor when she was about 3
or 4. I got here a unstyled JD A (heck of a note for a former IH H owner).
Wondered what she wanted with it, with in 15 second of opening it Barbie was
driving a JD A. Mattel must of missed one- don't ever remember seeing a Farmer
Barbie with the available pink tractor, so she slums and drives a green one.
